Children's Faith Formation
Children's Christian education, commonly known as spiritual formation, is a foundation upon which a lifetime of Christian descipleship is built. At Christ Church, our aim is to foster a relationship with God through worship, education, and creative artistic reflection. Through programs engaging children creatively, intellectually, and spiritually, each child will grow to have a deeper understanding of God, themselves, and how to carry that understanding into the community and world.

Godly Play Information
Sunday School
Sunday School is held during the regular academic year and meets Sunday mornings from
9:00am-9:45am. It is offered to all ages beginning at 2 years of age. Classes are divided into three classrooms: PreK, K-1, 2-3, and 4-5. Classrooms are located in the Linder Education and Administration Building. Godly Play is the Montessori-based curriculum currently being used in all of our classrooms. Classes for children and youth are available weekly during the academic year.

Children's Church
Children's Church is held during the 10am worship service for ages 18 months through 3rd grade year round. Children follow the Altar Party and exit from worship. They return during the Passing of the Peace for Communion. All children from birth and up are welcome in the Atrium and must be accompanied by their caregivers. The Atrium is located just outside the church nave.

Children's Church
During Lent, Easter, and Pentecost, we are raising awareness about Heifer International and how their organization is changing the world, one family at at time. Children's Faith Formation will be doing Saturday morning tours and outings in our local areas to find out how our gifts can benefit families and help with income sustainability and food security for families in the United States and the world. Each week we'll learn about a different gift and do activities related to the benefits of that gift.
