Christmas Eve Pageant
Children's Library Now Open!
Sunday School Starts at 11:00am
The kids did an amazing job on their Christmas Eve Pageant. They gave so much joy and laughter to the congregation and we are blessed to have them here at church.
Children's Faith Formation
Children's Christian education, commonly known as spiritual formation, is a foundation upon which a lifetime of Christian descipleship is built. At Christ Church, our aim is to foster a relationship with God through worship, education, and creative artistic reflection. Through programs engaging children creatively, intellectually, and spiritually, each child will grow to have a deeper understanding of God, themselves, and how to carry that understanding into the community and world.
Children's Activity Period
Children's Activity period is held from 9:00-9:45am
It is offered to grades PreK-5th grade. Mrs. Kate will
pick the children up from Parish Hall and lead them to either St. Anne's classroom or the 3-5 grade classroom.
Children's Church
Children's Church is held during the 10am worship service for ages 2 through 3rd grade year round. Father Steve and Mother Becca take turns teaching each week. Children are dismissed from worship during the Gloria and return during the Passing of the Peace for Communion. Children under 2 are welcome in the nursery with their caregivers just outside the church nave.
Sunday School
Sunday School is held during the regular academic year and meets Sunday mornings from
11:00-11:30am. It is offered to all ages beginning at 3 years of age. Classes are divided into three classrooms: Pre-K; K-2; and 3-5. They are located in the Linder Education and Administration Building. A nursery is available each Sunday for children birth to age 3. Godly Play is the Montessori-based curriculum currently being used. Classes for children and youth are available weekly during the academic year.
